We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to design, develop, and optimize industrial equipment and systems. The candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering designs, 3D models, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation while coordinating with project, production, procurement, and site teams to ensure successful project execution.

Design and develop mechanical systems, industrial equipment, and fabricated structures based on customer requirements.
Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings, 3D models, and assembly drawings using CAD software.
Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and installation drawings.
Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), material specifications, and technical documentation.
Review customer specifications, tender documents, and technical requirements.
Perform engineering calculations for structural members, sheet metal components, supports, and equipment.
Coordinate with production, procurement, quality, and project teams to ensure manufacturability and timely execution.
Provide technical support during fabrication, assembly, installation, and commissioning.
Resolve design-related issues and implement engineering modifications whenever required.
Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and customer specifications.
Coordinate with vendors for purchased components and technical clarifications.
Maintain revision control for engineering drawings and design documents.
Ensure all designs comply with safety, quality, and industry standards.
Support continuous product improvement, value engineering, and cost optimization initiatives.
Prepare technical reports, calculation sheets, manuals, and engineering documentation.
Participate in customer meetings and provide technical presentations when required.

Strong knowledge of machine design, fabrication, sheet metal, and structural engineering.
Experience in designing industrial equipment and process plants.
Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar CAD software.
Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, welding standards, and manufacturing processes.
Experience in preparing BOMs, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings.
Basic knowledge of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) is an added advantage.
Familiarity with material selection, manufacturing processes, and cost optimization.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and engineering calculation skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Experience in designing any of the following systems is preferred:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Production Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
